Thank you for being interested in the future of Northern California!

Judy and I are truly excited about the early support that we've received for my candidacy for the Democratic nomination for the United States House of Representatives. 

California's 2nd Congressional District  is a diverse area of agricultural, urbanized, and mountain communities. All of us want our communities to succeed, but a one-size-fits-all approach isn’t the answer. Now is the time for someone to step up and represent all of our communities and show that our issues are the nation's issues, that our voices count just as much as every other voice. The cities and communities of rural America and agricultural America are facing huge challenges. I understand these challenges and will work hard to make sure our voices are heard in  Congress. Our local economies are at risk, our local governments are at risk, and our future depends on having a strong voice in Washington who represents our interests, not those of the outside special interests.

I ask you to join us on our campaign to bring a strong new voice and vision to the 2nd District and to maximize our potential while protecting the resources and values that make Northern California such a special place to live.
